 A termite is a worm that lives in the form of a colony. Its food is wood, so it is found in plants and wood. Any wood that is infested with termites is completely eradicated.

There are many types of termites but the most common is the wood termite which is found in wood products. These termites camp outside the house, but then enter the house by making small tunnels in the ground.

There are some signs of termites entering the house.

Tiny earthen drains or bushes on the walls indicate termites in the house.

If the color of the doors or windows looks puffy or cracked, it means that the termites have reached the surface of the color by eating the wood from inside.

۔ When a solid wood makes a hollow sound, it means that the wood has been eaten by termites from inside.

Termites have no season and can strike at any time of the year. Medicines and fumigation should be used immediately if termites appear in the house.

But if you are allergic to these drugs, there are other ways to get rid of termites.

Keep termites in the sun:

Sunlight affects termites a lot. If termites are found in any furniture, keep them in the sun. Ultraviolet rays will force the termites to come out of the furniture.

۔ Place termite-infested furniture in a place where there is direct sunlight.

Orange oil:

۔ Where there are termites, apply orange oil daily for a few days.

۔ Oil can also be poured into the hollow area by making small holes in the affected area or through a syringe.

Neem oil:

Neem oil has a mild effect. But it does not allow termites to grow. Neem oil kills termites if applied directly to termites.

۔ Apply neem oil on the cotton and apply it on the affected furniture or doors and windows. Termites are killed by licking this oil.

۔ Repeated application of neem oil will eliminate termites in a few days.

Borax:

Borax is also useful for killing termites.

۔ Apply a layer of borax on the termite infested area.

۔ Doing this every other day for a week will eliminate termites.

۔ The borax solution can also be sprayed on wood surfaces.

To make the solution, spray a teaspoon of borax in 2 ounces of warm water.

Soap water:

Soapy water forms a layer on the termite's shell, which destroys their respiratory system, and they die.

۔ Mix two tablespoons of dishwashing liquid soup in 2 cups of water.

۔ Pour this solution into a spray bottle and spray on the affected areas.

۔ Do this daily until the results come out.

White vinegar:

Small termites can be controlled with white vinegar.

۔ Mix half a cup of vinegar and 2 lemons.

۔ Apply this solution in a spray bottle on the termite infested area.

Salt:

Salt is also very useful in killing termites. It prevents termites from growing. And protects other things from termites.

۔ Mix equal amounts of lukewarm water and salt in a bowl. Until the salt dissolves in the water.

۔ Fill the solution into a syringe and insert it into the termite infested frames.

۔ Do it daily for a few days.
